Falmer’s Finest took place on Tuesday 27th January when the school celebrated the achievement of many of our students across all year groups
The South Hall was packed full of parents and friends of those receiving awards and it was a fantastic evening. Presenting awards were two very special guests, Mr Peter Evans OBE, former Head Teacher at Cardinal Newman School and someone who has provided a huge amount of support to the school over the past 5 years, Mrs Sally Hill, who retired as a long-serving governor earlier this year. Mrs Hill has given up a great deal of her time supporting both students and staff at Falmer High School.
The support for Falmer’s Finest continues to grow! People from across the whole Falmer community came to support the students. These included staff, Governors, parents, carers, friends, family members, Councillors, members of the local authority and partners of the school. Thank you very much if you gave up your time to be there – it is much appreciated. Many thanks to all the staff who helped organise the event – a huge team event!
Congratulations once again if you either won a prize or performed – the whole community is very proud of you!
